The reason you came this far

Havelock's reef starts a few minutes offshore. Our travel desk arranges every one of these, holds your ferry tickets, and will tell you plainly when the sea is not worth going out on.

Scuba diving & snorkelling

Explore the corals and marine life off Havelock. Best between December and April, when the water is at its clearest.

Sea walk

Walk the sea bed under an oxygen mask, with the reef at eye level. No swimming ability and no certificate required.

Mangrove tour & fishing

A slow voyage through the mangrove channels, or a sunset and moonlit big-game fishing trip out from the island.

Our multi-cuisine restaurant serves a sumptuous spread of breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets alongside an à la carte menu — a delectable all-day dining experience with the best of Indian, Continental and Oriental delicacies.

The room is fully air-conditioned and seats fifty. On an island where the road has no street lighting after dark, having the kitchen a short walk from your door is worth more than it sounds.

In & around the island

Havelock Island — Swaraj Dweep — lies about 57 km by sea from Port Blair. There is no bridge and no airstrip: everyone arrives by ferry, which is part of what keeps the island the way it is. We are under ten minutes from the jetty.
